Considering to do health examination for visa in Australia? This is how to do health examination step by step.
For health examination, you will need your HAP ID and you can get this either before or after your visa application.
1. Before visa application.
To organise health examination upfront, you need to do “My Health Declarations” using ImmiAccount. Once you are done then you will have eMedical Referral letter with HAP ID.
2. After visa application.
You can do eMedical in the ImmiAccount and you will have eMedical Referral letter with HAP ID.
With HAP ID, you now can book your health examination with Bupa Medical Visa Services. With this online booking system, you can book your health examination 2 days in advance.
Fees will depend on what service you need to do for your visa application and common exams are;
Medical Examination and Chest X-ray $284 (incl GST)
Medical Examination $208
Chest X-ray $108
HIV Blood Test (as part of a medical exam) $45
Student visa will need Medical Examination and Chest X-ray (+HIV Blood Test in some cases) and Working Holiday visa will need Chest X-ray only. Exams are valid for 1 year.
